Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport – Arusha
Upon your arrival at the airport our guide will be waiting for you, and after a brief introduction you will be transferred to Arusha if you have time and energy our guide can give a short town tour so as to enjoy the beauty of the city and its people.
Arusha is a gateway to safari destination found in Northeast and is located in the northern highlands of Tanzania, beneath the twin peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, the city of approximately 400,000 people whereby is most dominated by two big tribes Maasai and Meru people.
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast your safari guide will come and pick you from your reserved hotel and proceed to Tarangire National Park, you will proceed with game full day game drive in Tarangire National Park with picnic lunches. After game drive we will proceed to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, which is the only source of water for the wild animals here during the dry season. The park is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons.
Day 3: Karatu–Manyara National Park
After breakfast we will proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive with picnic lunches, on this day you will enjoy the excellent view over Lake Manyara, see elephants up close in the woodlands and visit the renowned Manyara hippo pool.
The park offers a great view of the 400 meters deep Great Rift Valley.This tear in the earth came into existence 22 to 25 million years ago, when movement in a weak area of the earth’s crust led to the formation of a rift thousands of kilometers long through the whole of East Africa. The valley is so enormous it can be seen from outer space and it has many unique landscapes that attract a vast number of different animals. Besides being home to Lake Manyara itself you can also find dense rain forest here with hundreds of groups of monkeys and a huge number of birds.During the evening drive to your reserved accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
Today you will visit one of the seven African wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater, created when a huge volcano erupted two million years ago. The fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem; the crater has the highest concentration of animals anywhere in Africa.
The Ngorongoro Crater is home to many lion families, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests and many more species. And nowhere else offers a chance as good as this to spot the rare black rhino.
Day 5: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park
The exciting sounds of Africa will rose from your sleep. We will make the most of the day by departing early in morning with your lunch heading off on a spectacular afternoon game viewing in Serengeti. Serengeti offers an exotic game-viewing experience in the whole of Africa giving you up-close look of the animals,you will spot great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle.
The word Serengeti stems from the Maasai language and literally means endless plains. Many predators roam these vast grasslands; over four thousand lions, 225 cheetahs, a thousand leopards, 3500 hyenas and hundreds of wild dogs! And of course, plenty of other beautiful animals, which your guide will be delighted to search for together with you.
Day 6:Full Day game viewing in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you proceed with game drives safari in the Serengeti exploring the rolling plains of Serengeti National Park in search of large predators and the gentle herbivorous, on which they feed. Later during the day, you will proceed to your reserved accommodation inside the national park.
Day 7: Serengeti – Arusha
After breakfast your guide will pick you up and then transfer to Seronera airstrip where you will fly to Arusha, arrival at Arusha airport and transfer to own arranged hotel in Arusha.
